FAQ

ORDERING

Q: Do I need a prescription to order ChefSpecs or NiteSpecs reading glasses?

A: No, we sell ready-to-wear reading glasses, in magnifications from 1.25 to 3.00. These are

designed for those with normal aging of the eye when reading becomes a challenge or for use for

reading over contact lenses. Be sure to consult with your eye care provider to find out if readers are

appropriate for your needs and, if so, what magnification you require.

Q: Can I order these with non-prescription lenses?

A: All of our glasses come with magnified lenses for reading although many opticians are able to

remove our lenses and create prescription or fashion lenses using just our frames. This is not a

service we provide and our warranties do not apply to modified eyewear.

Q: Can I exchange my readers for a different magnification?

A: You may exchange your readers within the 30-day exchange period. Please note that you will be

responsible for all shipping charges if you wish to make an exchange.
